villas are situated on the Akrotiri peninsula which is north of Chania in Western Crete. From the villas it is easy to access the many wonderful sites to be found on this ancient island. Not only are there beaches found on the Akrotiri itself but also further east and about an hour and a half away to the west are the wonderful beaches of Falasarna and Elafonisos. One must not forget the many ancient sites found both in and around Chania and then the most famous archaeological site of Knossos near Heraklion. For those who enjoy walking the Samaria gorge, the longest in Europe, is possibly a must. Start your journey almost in the middle of this part of the island and after 17km downhill you will find yourself on the shores of the Libyan Sea in Agia Roumeli.
